The development of our application has been running since May 2013 when Tep was formed at a Hackathon competition. At the moment there are five people in our team. We have two developers, two designers and one who is responsible for business and marketing. Ákos Boros has graduated as an economist in the faculty of Finance and Accounting in the University of Szeged. He had experience with EU project management as a trainee and he is coofounder of a local startup movement in Szeged, called SzegedBoost. Now he is working part-time as a project manager in a web- and serverhosting company parallel with the Tep. He is the operative person of Tep and he is also responsible for finance. Gábor Szabó has more than five years of experience in both online and offline graphic design. At the moment he is working as a web designer at a digital agency in Budapest. He also studies typography at Moholy Nagy University of Arts and Design. He is mainly responsible for the UI of the Tep app and for our corporate identity. Katica Babarczi represents multidisciplinarity in Tep as she graduated as a teacher and worked as an editor at Apertúra Online Journal of Film Theory. As a result of her interest in visual arts she studied webdesign as a former intern at Binga and now works as a freelance graphic designer. She takes part in Tep as an illustrator and assists to help Gábor Szabó with the UX design. Norbert Budincsevity is a software engineer student at the University of Szeged, Hungary. Last year he was an R&D intern at LogMeIn, and being an intern at at Microsoft Hungary, he worked on his Windows 8 application. His special fields of study are cloud services and artificial intelligence. The idea of Tep was created by him and he is a member of Tep's developer team. Zsolt Jandzsó studies software engineering at the University of Szeged. Previously he worked for Microsoft as a trainee on his own xna based 2d sideview game with cloud-based multiplayer. Parallel with Tep, he is a back- and front-end developer of a plant identification camera system at a company. He is responsible for the Windows Phone development of Tep.
Tep is a fitness entertaining mobile application in the form of an expanded tracking software linked with a tamagotchi which motivates people to do sports in an enjoyable way. The mobile application provides a customizable companion, a virtual pet for users who is to be taken care of by doing sports: the user earns points by the workouts which can be spend on the foods and accessories of the pet.
